WHERE WOMEN CREATE WORK
SOFT-INSPIRED COMFORT ALICIA ADAMS
In the hushed elegance of New York’s Hudson Valley, Alicia Adams has crafted more than textiles. She’s shaped a philosophy of intentional beauty. Her journey began not in a showroom, but in the soft rustle of nearly 200 Suri alpacas grazing outside her family’s home. What emerged from this raw landscape was a commitment to sustainable luxury, rooted in the silken warmth of alpaca fiber and guided by a resolute spirit.
With a background in fashion PR and an aversion to shortcuts, Alicia taught herself the intricacies of fiber craft, from milling to weaving. Her first offerings, baby booties, knit blankets, and handwoven throws, reflected both maternal tenderness and unyielding standards. When domestic production proved limiting, she ventured to Peru, aligning with artisan-led mills whose values matched her own. The result is Alicia Adams Alpaca, a brand where heirloom-quality design and ethical sourcing converge in refined collections for home, wardrobe, and the next generation.
