Take a moment to step inside our world, a world where craftsmanship is slow, purposeful, and rooted in reverence for nature. At alicia adams alpaca, we don’t just make things. We make things well. Beautiful, timeless objects we ourselves love to live with.
Each piece begins not with a sketch or a loom, but with the rising sun over our farm in New York’s Hudson Valley, where over 200 Suri alpacas are raised with care and intention. As a family-owned and operated business, we are present at every turn - overseeing every detail from fleece to finish.

The Making of a Masterpiece

Harvested with Care
It begins with our alpacas, sheared just once a year to preserve the integrity of their coats. We sort and select only the finest baby alpaca fibers, renowned for their exceptional softness and resilience.
Purified by Hand
Each fiber is gently cleaned and processed, a meticulous step that removes impurities while protecting the natural character of the fleece.
Spun & Dyed to Perfection
The raw fiber is spun into silky threads, then dyed in our proprietary palette of over 100 distinctive hues. From luminous neutrals to rich earth tones, color is our quiet obsession.
Woven by Artisans
Next, the fibers are entrusted to our skilled artisans in South America who knit and weave every piece by hand under fair-trade practices. Their mastery is visible in every edge, stitch, and fringe.
Finished with Purpose
Style and soul live in the details. From soft brushed finishes to hand-knotted tassels, the final touch is where craftsmanship shines. We design pieces that feel as good as they look and age with grace.
