KARRIERE MUNCHEN
FROM MUNICH TO NEW YORK
Alicia Adams, a visionary who relocated from Munich to New York’s Hudson Valley, has built a brand that blends her love for animals with her passion for fashion. In 2006, she and her husband Daniel moved to Stanfordville, where they established a farm dedicated to raising Suri alpacas. Their wool, harvested annually, is crafted into luxurious clothing and accessories, ranging from soft throws to elegant scarves and cardigans.
Alicia's designs are a reflection of her keen eye for fashion and her commitment to sustainability. The alpaca fiber, known for its warmth and lightness, is naturally hypoallergenic and comes in 24 shades, minimizing the need for artificial dyes. Alicia and Daniel work closely with Peruvian artisans to transform the wool into finely crafted pieces. As Alicia continues to expand her collection, her goal is to introduce lighter alpaca fabrics for year-round wear, introducing more people to the unique, gentle qualities of alpaca wool.
