What fun I had romping through Architectural Digest's Spring Design Show, assembling elements for the dream apartment in my head-the whimsical prints of Brooklyn-based textile company Aimee Wilder Designs, Tibet Home's tiger cushions and Saved New York's horoscope ones, Anka Cooperative's Turkish hopscotch rug or Jan Kath's "embroidery sampler" (one of the fruits of a collaboration with the Museum of New Mexico). And how about a hand-crafted stem lounge by Lutz Furniture? Or a cleverly transformable table (designed by Embru, ostensibly for Swiss doctors). And what about a rainbow of alpaca throws from Alicia Adams Alpaca? (And back to Saved New York for a malachite one!) And for the garden of my dreams, a handsome planter by Architectural Heritage... peruse my favorites and learn where to find them.
